Our Story.
Compass Career & Development Services began after founder Monica Manney saw the gap in “Career Literacy” and professional development in different communities. She started by helping friends and family with their resumes. In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, our founder officially launched Compass in Syracuse, New York. Now, she travels across the country to spread career literacy and empower emerging professionals. Compass Career is dedicated to:
Educating people of all backgrounds from formerly incarcerated professionals to military veterans and from emerging college-level professionals to career switchers.
Equipping professionals of all ages and backgrounds with the confidence and knowledge to navigate their professional career informed and strategically.
